Assistant Professor at the Werklund School of Education, University of Calgary. Her research looks at educational responses to linguistic diversity in a variety of contexts including the Canadian Bilingual School system and pre-service teacher education.

She received Short-term Research Stay funding from the DAAD for her time in Hamburg, which will focus on a current project: Exploring Responses to Diversity - Pre-service Teacher Education in Germany, Canada and the USA.
