Dr. Seyfettin Arslan received grant to conduct his reasearch at UHH

Dr. Seyfettin Arslan came to Germany in 2019. In 2021, he was awarded a research grant from Universität Hamburg as part of the Hamburg Programme for Scholars at Risk and will join the DivER team from Jan 1st 2021 for one year. During this time he will work on his project „An 'Intellectual' Migration: Educational Backgrounds, Purposes, and Needs“.

He got his master's degree from Fırat University with a thesis on "Misconceptions of Primary School Students" and wrote his PhD dissertation at Marmara University on the subject of the "multicultural education in Turkey". His main research interests are multicultural education, primary education program and citizenship education.
