Reflection through supervision of practical experiences in teacher training
Educational practice is characterised by different fields of tension, which cannot be resolved fundamentally. This includes the tension between heteronomy and requirements of autonomy as well as the tension between educational planning and situated action.
Supervision provides participants with the opportunity to observe the experience of their self within these fundamental antinomic tensions. It helps them to find their own position and their own role perception. The aim is to develop authentic practices in dealing with the profession's requirements as well as solution-oriented perspectives.
In co-operation with the Landesinstitut Hamburg, this transfer project offers and evaluates supervisions of the main internships in teacher training on a regular basis. The supervisions are based on case work in seven steps.
