Literacy acquisition for the deaf with Web2 (www.delegs.com)

Description: The project aims at offering German courses with contrastive use of German Sign Language for young deaf adults with the help of IT-based support. These further qualification measures are used especially at the interface between school and work . These further education modules are offered depending on demand, for example specialized German courses for the area of the care occupations, the catering trade, the child education or the like. The goal is to expand the specialized vocabulary and to initiate comparative language reflections through contrastive language work in German and DGS (with sign language).
