Framework curriculum German Sign Language Hamburg
Since 2017, there has been a framework plan for German Sign Language published by the Authority for Schools and Vocational Training. It lists, among other things, the competencies to be acquired in the subject German Sign Language as well as the associated requirements and content. These are summarized in eight levels, which are assigned to the respective grades of the school types of the general education schools. This results in the possibility to think and plan lessons over a long period of time for the subject German Sign Language as an instructional and elective subject.
