Practice materials UKfa project

As part of the BMBF-funded project "'Augmentative and Alternative Communication for all' as an inclusive teaching and learning field in day care centers" at the University of Hamburg, sign-symbol cards were created in cooperation with Hamburg's largest day care center provider Elbkinder gGmbH. Experiences gained from practice and suggestions for action regarding their use can be found alongside theoretical background knowledge in a WiFF expertise. In addition, other sign materials from different authors and publishers were compiled in a list, which can methodically enrich and promote the use of signs in the everyday life of a daycare center or other settings of early childhood education.
