Receptive language difficulties in school aged children (ReLais)
Description: Studies on receptive language performance in students of different populations, each of which is assessed for specific language areas, are available, for example, for DLD, hearing loss, dyslexia, or ADHD. A systematic survey and description of the possible similarities and differences between the groups, which could result from the very differentiated diagnostics in each case, is still missing for the German-speaking area. With the help of already available data, the project wants to systematically cluster the results of the performed diagnostics in order to be able to better grasp the profile of the receptive language development disorder. We expect that there will be overlap, for example, in the clearly diagnosed pupils with AVWS, with hearing impairments and with receptive disorders. The goal is to capture the group of children with receptive language development disorders in such a way that a criteria-based derivation of therapeutic approaches is possible.
