"Augmentative and Alternative Communication for All" as January Research Project of the Month

The Faculty of Education is starting a new series this year, the Research Project of the Month. The first episode was a video presenting the project "'Augmentative and Alternative Communication for All' as an inclusive teaching and learning area in day care centers". Prof. Dr. Barbara Hänel-Faulhaber, Madlen Goppelt-Kunkel and Maren Schüler explain how sign-assisted communication works with children in daycare centers, what potential it could hold and what is particularly exciting about it from an educational science perspective.
