Stimulating Early Literacy through stories and play - why and how? In her role as Director of PRAESA, Carole Bloch has initiated early literacy programmes which have a continuous focus on meaning making, rather than as a goal to be reached at a certain age. She will share the theoretical understandings and related practice of a programme carried out to mentor early childhood practitioners and expose young children to opportunities for engaging meaningfully with print.

The event will take place on June 1st, 5:30pm; VMP Room 424.
