Key Information
The conference will take place at Universität Hamburg (Von-Melle-Park 3, 20146 Hamburg) from January 11-12, 2024.
Abstracts are due September 8, 2023.
Notifications will be due September 25, 2023.
Registration begins on September 25, 2023.
We invite different types of submissions:
- Oral presentation (20 minutes presentation + 10 minutes discussion)
- Poster (A1 size (594x841 mm/ 23.3x33.1 in) portrait format)
- Roundtable discussion (in which an appointed chair structures direct interaction between presenters with similar themes)
There is no fee for participation.
Certificates of Participation will be issued upon request.
Next Generation Literacies
Next Generation Literacies is part of the Next Generation Partnership Thematic Network programme funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg under the Excellence Strategy of the Federal Government and the Länder.
The leadership team of Next Generation Literacies consists of:
- Professor Ingrid Gogolin (Universität Hamburg),
- Professor Sílvia Melo-Pfeifer (Universität Hamburg),
- Professor Ingrid Piller (Macquarie University) and
- Professor Yongyan Zheng (Fudan University).
