Die Anmeldung zur diesjährigen virtuellen "Next Generation Literacies" Sommerschule zum Thema "Linguistic Diversity, Education and Social Participation" ist ab sofort möglich.

The virtual summer school, organized by the network "Next Generation Literacies", aims to familiarise participants with current research on (multi)literacies development in multilingual contexts and across the educational biography. Each day of this one-week summer school is dedicated to language and literacy development at a specific stage: preschool, primary, secondary and tertiary education, as well as transition to the labour market. Over ten lectures, key aspects of multiliteracies will be addressed at one of these stages, for example: the development of multilingual competences and their assessment, innovative teaching approaches, digital learning tools. The summer school is intended for all students interested in the fields of educational linguistics, literacies, multilingualism and second language acquisition.

The Summer School programme also includes online extracurricular and socialising activities, as well as an informational session about opportunities for international scholars in Hamburg / Germany.

Applications can be submitted until June 12th via the online application form.
