At the start of the orientation internship here and abroad, teacher training students can now use the electronic DiCoT-Organizer e-DO!
The e-DO! follows on from the DiCoT preparatory seminar in which students reflected upon diversity contexts and diversity-sensitive teaching in schools. Based on individual interest, interns can choose from several critical tasks that are formulated in biography-related antibias approach. The tasks require students to take a critical look at the handling of diversity at their school, or with customs and norms, etc. For example, students can compare a school they already know with their internship school here and abroad.
The e-DO! contributes to the internationalization of teacher training abroad and Internationalisierung@Home. Another aspect to using e-DO! is that is encourages the development of digital skills.
The e-DO! was developed as part of the DAAD project Diversity Contexts in Teacher Education, or DiCoT for short.
