Orientation Teaching Placement Abroad: Application Period Starts on 1 June

Would you like to do the orientation teaching placement abroad? Are you interested in collecting practical experiences in a different linguistic and cultural context? Then apply now!

Dear Students,

Starting on Wednesday, 1 June 2022, you can apply for an orientation teaching placement at a school in Ghana or the United States.

Teaching Placements will be offered at the Faculty of Education’s partner universities as part of the Diversity in Contexts in Teacher Education project. The 4-week orientation teaching placement takes place at the end of the third semester of the bachelor’s degree programs beginning in Winter Semester 2020/2021.

If you have started your teaching studies in winter semester 2021/22 and would like to complete the teaching placement abroad, then apply now!

Students receiving teacher training for all types of schools (with the exception of vocational schools) as well as in all subject combinations are welcome to apply for an internship.

Please note: In order to apply for an internship, you must attend a digital group counseling session. Three dates are available: Monday, 30 May 2022 (4-5pm), Thursday, 16 June 2022 (4-5pm), Friday, 24 June 2022 (12-1pm). Please register for one of the dates via op-ausland.ew"AT"uni-hamburg.de.
