Sophie Begon and Maike Beyer, both from the University of Cologne, presented approaches to language education for newly immigrated deaf and hard-of-hearing students in a seminar. At the same time, they presented the project IDeALL ("Immigrant d/Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Additional Language Learners"), which is funded at the University of Cologne.
