Data collection
We support researchers with their qualitative and quantitative research data collection, both stationary and in the field.
Stationary data collection
Two new rooms are currently being built for stationary data collection. The group lab will enable research of teaching and learning situations in small groups and groups of up to 30 people. The solo lab will provide 9 workstations to conduct individual surveys on the computer.
Both labs are part of the new Open Research Hub at the Faculty of Education, which is scheduled to open in 2025. You can find details on the current state of the construction on the Open Research Hub page.
The Open Research Hub will also include a new studio for professional video and audio recordings. In the meantime, we have set up a provisional studio where you can record green screen recordings, interviews, podcasts, and other formats. For more details, go to Media production.
Field research
If you are collecting data in the field and need professional equipment (e.g., for video and audio recordings), you can borrow this from our equipment lending service. We can also support you in the planning, implementation, and postproduction of digitally supported field research projects (video, audio, photo, VR/AR/360°, and sensor- and device-based data collection).
