From October 2 to 8, 2024, Prof. Dr. Telse Iwers took part in a delegation trip to Ghana led by Katharina Fegebank, Senator for Science and Second Mayor of Hamburg. The delegation included representatives of various Hamburg universities and institutes from different disciplines, who were able to consolidate and expand existing collaborations in Ghana.
Together with colleagues and students from the University of Education, Telse Iwers was given the opportunity to present some of the cooperation projects and areas of the UEW and University of Hamburg's Faculty of Education.
The presentations took place in the new DAAD residence in the capital city of Ghana. The head of the department, Dr. Lena Leumer, had invited the delegation to her rooms.
