New Cooperation with the Universidad de la Cuidad de Buenos Aires in Argentina

The Faculty of Education, together with the Faculty of Psychology and Human Movement Science, has signed a new cooperation agreement with the Universidad de la Cuidad de Buenos Aires in Argentina.

The Universidad de la Cuidad de Buenos Aires is a young, state university focused on teacher education. During an introductory trip by Prof. Dr. Claus Krieger, Prof. Dr. Erin Gerlach and Dr. Myriam Hummel, various common interests were identified and joint cooperation measures were planned. One focus of the cooperation is the training of future teachers in the subject of sports. The curricula for the subject of sports were presented and discussed by both universities during a workshop. Education students at the University of Hamburg will now have the opportunity to complete their orientation internship in schools in Buenos Aires in cooperation with the partner university. A Memorandum of Understanding was signed to conclude the cooperation.
