2022-2025 Mint4all (BMBF)
The project pursues the goal of developing the competencies described in the Orientation Framework for Global Development in an interdisciplinary manner. Real-world societal problems are so complex that an additive and subject-specific approach can only open up the problem to a limited extent for learners, and networking can only take place with difficulty. This project will develop solutions for the strongest possible integration of subject perspectives without abandoning the organizational framework of a subject-separated STEM program, which is often difficult for schools to change. The aim is to investigate the effect of a subject-integrated teaching approach compared to conventional subject-separated teaching with regard to subject-related and cross-subject knowledge and competence development, to what extent the developed learning environment is suitable from the teachers' point of view to be used in regular teaching, and what kinds of obstacles can be reconstructed
