Prof. Dr. Mustafa Yunus Eryaman is TÜBITAK guest professor at the Universität Hamburg for one year.
Prof. Dr. Mustafa Yunus Eryaman is the vice president of the World Education Research Association and professor of Philosophy of Education at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University (Turkey). He has served as Associate Dean in the Faculty of Education and as the Interim Chancellor at Canakkale Onsekiz Mart University. He is currently a visiting TUBITAK professor at the Institute for International Comparative and Intercultural Education in the University of Hamburg. He serves as a council member in the European Educational Research Association and World Education Research Association. He received his MEd from the University of Missouri-Columbia and his PhD from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is editor of the “International Journal of Progressive Education” as well as the following books, “Evidence based and informed Educational Policy Research and Practice for the Public Good” (in press), “International Handbook of Progressive Education” (2015), and “Peter McLaren, Education, and the Struggle for Liberation” (2009) and author of Teaching as Practical Philosophy (2008).
