Research Questions
The project pursues the objective to develop the competencies described in the Global Development Orientation Framework with mathematics as the interdisciplinary lead subjects. The following research questions are derived from the current state of research and identified research gaps:
- Compared to conventional subject-separated teaching in terms of subject-related and development of Interdisciplinary knowledge and competence, what is the impact of an interdisciplinary teaching approach?
- How do students' mathematical modeling skills develop in a group comparison?
- What effects result from interdisciplinary respectively separate-subject teaching approaches in terms of the intended environmentally conscious behaviour, attitudes and subject-specific knowledge about climate change?
- Does significantly more networking occur in subject-integrated lessons than in subject-separated lessons?
- From the teachers' point of view, is the learning environment developed suitable for use in regular lessons? What types of obstacles can be reconstructed?
