The NextGenLit - International Mentoring Program
Whether you are interested in developing an intergenerational, supportive learning relationship with an experienced researcher, or you are dedicated to promoting young talents and passing on your academic knowledge and personal experience – this is your chance - apply now for the Next Generation Literacies mentoring program!
The mentoring program can be shaped according to the mentees and mentors needs - duration, frequency and structuring is agreed on in every tandem individually and dependents on their specific mentoring goals. With workshops on mentoring and organizational support we offer orientation and support.
All network members are warmly invited to apply as a mentor (i.e., postdoctoral researchers, junior, and senior professors) and/or as a mentee (i.e., doctoral and postdoctoral researchers, and junior professors). The mentoring program is part of the Next Generation Literacies network, which gives participants the opportunity to take advantage of all network activities.
Not yet a member? Our network aims at fostering emergent researchers who are following an international academic career in the topic of language diversity. All network activities gather around three key aspects: connecting (network meetings and symposia), guidance (international mentoring program, workshops on soft and technical skills, joint PhD supervision) and supporting (financial support in travel costs, publishing and conference fees, support in applying for third party funds).
Would you like to apply for the mentoring program? Please find the mentee application form here, and information for mentors here.
