Network member and early career researcher Sophie Munte was elected to the Hamburg Research Academy (HRA) Doctoral Council for the 2024-2026 term of office. The HRA Doctoral Council currently comprises seven doctoral candidates from various departments at HRA member universities. The aim of this doctoral student organisation is to represent the interests of doctoral students in Hamburg and to bring these interests to the committees of the HRA. In addition, the Doctoral Council itself organises events such as co-working, a monthly get-together or peer-to-peer counselling and strives to promote cross-university networking.
Information on the HRA Doctoral Council and current events can be found on the HRA website, in the HRA newsletter or on the Instagram account of the Doctoral Council.
