Multilingualism in Focus: Current Issue of ‘Hamburg macht Schule’

The current issue of the magazine ‘Hamburg macht Schule - Zeitschrift für Hamburger Lehrkräfte und Elternräte’, published by the Ministry for Schools and Vocational Training and the State Institute for Teacher Training and School Development, takes a detailed look at the topic of multilingualism. LiDS speaker Prof Ingrid Gogolin begins with an introduction to the concept of multilingualism and the current state of research. In addition, Next Generation Literacies member Dr Hanne Brandt and her colleague Dr Jule Böhmer present the research project ‘Physics lessons in the context of linguistic diversity’.
